Basketball Recap: Lone Star Longhorns vs. Briggsdale Falcons
If Lone Star was feeling good fresh off their 55-23 takedown of Deer Trail last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lone Star Longhorns came up short against the Briggsdale Falcons on Friday, falling 65-42. The Longhorns haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Despite the loss, Lone Star saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Peytyn Kuntz went 7 for 11 on her way to 17 points and three steals.
