Softball Recap: McMahon Takes a Loss

McMahon lost against Stamford back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Senators lost 20-3 to the Black Knights. The Senators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alexa Smith was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base. Sami Horton also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.

McMahon now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Stamford, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McMahon will face off against Staples at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Stamford, they will host Harding at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
