Basketball Recap: Northwood Academy Chargers vs. Pinewood Prep Panthers
Northwood Academy lost against Pinewood Prep two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Northwood Academy Chargers were dealt an 88-59 loss at the hands of the Pinewood Prep Panthers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (57), the Chargers still had to take the loss.

Several Chargers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Elyjah Oler, who went 5-for-12 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Oler a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Antwaun Henderson Jr., who posted seven points along with six assists and five boards.
Even though they lost, Northwood Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Arden Murray went supernova for Pinewood Prep, going 10-for-17 to rack up 30 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Asa Windham, who put up 14 points in addition to eight boards and five assists.
Northwood Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 16 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 2-22 record this season. As for Pinewood Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-7.
