The Classical Academy of Sarasota managed to slip by Gulf Coast HEAT the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Patriots came up short against the Lions on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Saint Stephen's Episcopal came up short against Southwest Florida Christian on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the King's: they've now lost three in a row.

Saint Stephen's Episcopal started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-22.

Saint Stephen's Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for The Classical Academy of Sarasota, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

The Classical Academy of Sarasota couldn't quite get it done against Saint Stephen's Episcopal when the teams last played back in September of 2023 as they fell 2-0. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
