The Tahquitz Titans will head out to face off against the West Valley Mustangs at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Tahquitz is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

Tahquitz was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Heritage on Monday. The Titans blew past the Patriots 12-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Titans as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

At the plate, Tahquitz let Reyna Garcia and Megan Brown run wild. Garcia got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and one double, while Brown went 3-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Tahquitz kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Heritage only managed eight hits.

Meanwhile, West Valley fell victim to Elsinore and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 12-0. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Tahquitz's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for West Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Everything went Tahquitz's way against West Valley in their previous meeting back in March, as Tahquitz made off with a 13-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
