Soccer Game Preview: Rancho vs. Sunrise Mountain + How To Watch

The Rancho Rams will venture away from home to take on the Sunrise Mountain Miners at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

Rancho is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Valley just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 4-3. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Rancho couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Sunrise Mountain faced Desert Pines in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Miners' defense stepped up to hand the Jaguars a 2-0 shutout. The win made it back-to-back victories for Sunrise Mountain.

Eddie Barrera and Victor Requenez-Cisneros scored both of Sunrise Mountain's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Sunrise Mountain's win bumped their record up to 11-2-4. As for Rancho, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5-3.
