Soccer Recap: North Myrtle Beach Comes Up Short

After flying high against Georgetown on Friday, North Myrtle Beach came back down to earth. The North Myrtle Beach Chiefs fell 4-2 to the West Florence Knights on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chiefs of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

North Myrtle Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for West Florence, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

North Myrtle Beach will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Brunswick at 6:30 p.m. on March 13th. As for West Florence, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Socastee at 2:30 p.m.
