Softball Game Preview: Ensworth Tigers vs. Lipscomb Academy Mustangs

Ensworth is 0-5 against Lipscomb Academy since April of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Tigers will welcome the Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. Ensworth has given up an average of 21.6 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Ensworth fell victim to University School of Nashville and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 23-0 to University School of Nashville.

Meanwhile, Lipscomb Academy suffered their closest defeat since March 6, 2025 on Thursday. They fell just short of Christ Presbyterian Academy by a score of 3-1.

Ensworth's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lipscomb Academy, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Ensworth couldn't quite get it done against Lipscomb Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 6-1. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
