Baseball Recap: Omaha Central Gets the Win

After losing to Lincoln Southeast the last time they met, Omaha Central decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagles walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Knights on Thursday.

Omaha Central got a great performance from Boe Di Lorenzo as he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. That's the most strikeouts Di Lorenzo has posted since back in April.

At the plate, Oscar Yuhas-Vining was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted over his last 12 games.

Omaha Central's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Lincoln Southeast, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.
