Basketball Recap: Freedom Prep Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Fairley last Friday, Freedom Prep Academy came back down to earth. The Freedom Prep Academy Eagles were beaten by the Mitchell Tigers 69-40 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-32 back in January.

Freedom Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Mitchell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. Memphis School of Excellence Winchester will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Freedom Prep Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Mitchell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
