Volleyball Recap: Coachella Valley's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Coachella Valley lost against Palm Springs back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mighty Arabs fell 2-0 to the Indians. The loss put an end to the Mighty Arabs' undefeated start to the season.

Yamarani Vega paced Coachella Valley's offense, picking up four kills. Vega got some help from Vanessa Garcia and her six assists. Giada Lopez controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Coachella Valley fell to 3-1. As for Palm Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Coachella Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Orange Vista on the 16th. Palm Springs has also already played their next contest (against Twentynine Palms), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
