C.H. Yoe waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 victory over the Rogers Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-3 last Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Josie Laureano, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Crystal Reyes also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

C.H. Yoe was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive games.

C.H. Yoe now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Rogers, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

C.H. Yoe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rogers, they will head out to face off against Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lexington's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Rogers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
