Football Recap: North Central Drops Highest Score of Season Against Harrison

North Central had lost three straight, but after bumping their record up to 2-3 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They walked away with a 41-28 victory over the Harrison Raiders. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Chase Grove continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 266 yards and four TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also rushing for 31 yards and one score. Noah Ardillo-Miller was in the mix as well, providing North Central with two touchdowns.

As for Harrison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3. Despite 109 more yards than North Central, the Raiders couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

When it comes to explaining why Harrison lost, don't look at Lannon Nicoloff. Despite the final result, he threw for 254 yards and three TDs while completing 81.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 61 yards on only eight carries.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Central will challenge Carmel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Grove and Anthony Coellner. As for Harrison, they will square off against McCutcheon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Raiders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
