Blacksburg has gone 8-1-1 against Hidden Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bruins will square off against the Titans at 7:00 p.m. Blacksburg is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.

Blacksburg is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Virginia's top teams: Cave Spring, who was ranked seventh at the time (Blacksburg was ranked 12th). The Bruins fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The loss was Blacksburg's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Hidden Valley had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.6 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Patriots a 3-0 shutout. Hidden Valley might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by three goals or more this season.

Hidden Valley pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five contests. As for Blacksburg, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 7-1.
