Basketball Recap: Paideia's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Paideia's strategy against Galloway on Tuesday. The Paideia Pythons put the hurt on the Galloway Scots with a sharp 56-36 win. Given the Pythons' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 174th, while the Scots are ranked 426th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Galloway still got an impressive performance from Ryan Levin, who posted 22 points. The contest was Levin's third in a row with at least ten points. Zach Graves also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

The victory (which was Paideia's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points per game. As for Galloway, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Paideia will head out on the road to square off against The Weber School at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Paideia is facing The Weber School at the right time seeing as The Weber School is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Galloway, they will welcome Mt. Bethel Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
