With a playoff win on the line, Biggs rose to the challenge on Friday. They skirted past the King City Mustangs 4-2. Winning may never get old, but the Wolverines sure are getting used to it with their 14th in a row.

Gracie Sheppard spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Allie Little was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Arden Vines was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Biggs' win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 29-3-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for King City, they moved to 20-12 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Biggs nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
