Football Game Preview: Notre Dame Prep Saints vs. Desert Mountain Wolves + How To Watch

The Notre Dame Prep Saints will face off against the Desert Mountain Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Notre Dame Prep came up short against Arizona College Prep and fell 31-21. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Desert Mountain faced Horizon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wolves fell 35-22 to the Huskies. It was the first time this season that the Wolves let down their fans at home.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Easton Conner and Bodie Zamorano. Zamorano had a great game and rushed for 116 yards and a pair of scores. Meanwhile, Conner did his best for the losing side, rushing for 84 yards and one touchdown.

Desert Mountain's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-2. As for Notre Dame Prep, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Notre Dame Prep was dealt a bruising 35-0 loss at the hands of Desert Mountain in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Saints, Bryce Herges (who threw for 109 yards and three TDs) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
