Soccer Recap: East Carteret Takes a Loss

East Carteret and East Wake Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but East Carteret had to settle for second. They lost 7-0 to the Eagles. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, East Carteret's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

East Carteret's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for East Wake Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.

As of now, neither East Carteret nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
