Baseball Recap: Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics' Run of Three Straight Victories Now Over

After flying high against Coastal HomeSchool on Saturday, Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics came back down to earth. The Wildcats took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hurricanes on Saturday. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hurricanes earlier this season, when they won 10-0.

Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Greyson Stampley, who went 3-for-4 with one double. That double marked the first that Stampley hit this season.

Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics moved to 11-9 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Coastal HomeSchool, their record is now 13-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics will venture away from home to square off against St. John's at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st. The Islanders will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they are taking a road trip to take on St. Andrew's at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
