Westlake had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They breezed by the Akins Eagles to the tune of 74-30. That looming 74-30 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Chaparrals yet this season.

Westlake's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Akins, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.
