Baseball Preview: Greeley West Spartans vs. Skyview Wolverines        
        
		
            
 The Greeley West Spartans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Skyview Wolverines at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The  squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Greeley West has struggled recently with eight losses in a row, while Skyview will arrive with three straight  wins.
 On Monday, Greeley West came up short against Centaurus  and fell  13-9.
  Dominic Flores was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He  pitched three innings while giving up just one earned  (and four unearned) runs off   six  hits. Flores was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI.
 In other batting news, Greeley West got a big performance out of  David Lovato, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.  Jacob Flores was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-5.
 Meanwhile, Skyview scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Saturday. Everything went their way against Aurora Central as Skyview made off with  a  17-7 victory. Skyview might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matchups by seven  runs or more this season.
 Skyview got a big performance out of  Justin Contreras, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Bryan Contreras, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 Greeley West's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Skyview, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record  this season.
 Greeley West came out on top in a nail-biter against Skyview  in their previous meeting  back in March of 2023, sneaking past  1-0. Does  Greeley West have another victory up their sleeve, or will Skyview turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
