Softball Preview: Hillcrest Patriots vs. Prattville Lions
For the second straight game, Hillcrest will face off against Prattville. The Patriots will host the Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Hillcrest's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Prattville has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
Hillcrest came up short against Prattville on Tuesday, falling 8-2.
For Prattville's part, Kaytie Chandler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up 12 Ks. Chandler has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
