Volleyball Recap: Bowler Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Bowler faced off against Gresham Community on Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-10, 25-23.

Libby Carrington paced Bowler's offense, picking up eight kills. Carrington got some help from Madison Piotrowski and her eight assists. Audrina Klose controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Bowler's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Gresham Community, their win bumped their record up to 11-12.

Bowler wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Marion on the 16th. As for Gresham Community, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Menominee Nation on the 16th.
