Volleyball Recap: Nazareth Academy Takes a Loss

Nazareth Academy lost against Marist back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Roadrunners fell 2-0 to the RedHawks.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-16.

Matt Hounihan paced Nazareth Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Hounihan got some help from Hunter Creaney and his 12 assists.

Nazareth Academy's loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Marist, the win was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-1.

Nazareth Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Addison Trail on the 7th. As for Marist, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Niles Notre Dame on the 7th.
