Crest has no trouble against Humboldt

Recap: Crest Lancers vs. Humboldt Cubs
Even though the Crest Lancers have not done well against the Humboldt Cubs recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Crest strolled past Humboldt with points to spare, taking the game 44-27. The victory was all the more spectacular given Crest's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while Humboldt is ranked 99th).
Despite the loss, Humboldt still got an impressive performance from Sam Hull, who scored ten points.
The victory got Crest back to even at 4-4. As for Humboldt, their loss dropped their record down to 9-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crest will square off against Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Humboldt will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Erie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
