Garfield is a perfect 4-0 against Liberty since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The G-Men will face off against the Leopards at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Garfield's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

Garfield is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Southeast: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the G-Men blew the Pirates out of the water with a 48-10 final score. The G-Men haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Liberty). They breezed past Newton Falls to the tune of 56-0 on Friday. The Leopards pushed the score to 49-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers had no chance of recovering from.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Garfield, their win bumped their record up to an identical 5-1.

Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Garfield has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 412 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Liberty struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 231.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.

Garfield was able to grind out a solid victory over Liberty in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 20-13. The rematch might be a little tougher for the G-Men since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
