Soccer Game Recap: McFarland vs. Delano

The McFarland Cougars have not won a game since January 16th, a trend which continued on Tuesday. Neither they nor Delano could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The outcome might've been different if Isaac Rios hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

McFarland avoided a loss thanks to Cesar Velasquez and Christian Oropeza, who posted both of McFarland's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 20 so far this season.

McFarland's draw makes their record 6-13-4 on the season. As for Delano, they moved theirs to 11-11-1.

McFarland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Delano, they will head out on the road to take on Taft at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
