It was a good run, but Hobart unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Hanover Central Wildcats by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Hobart sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 24-26, 25-22, 27-29, 15-8.

Alissa Hope paced Hobart's offense, picking up 12 kills. Hope got some help from Kalli Butcher and her 18 assists.

Hobart's defeat dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Hanover Central, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 21-4.

Hobart didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Kankakee Valley on the 9th. As for Hanover Central, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Merrillville on the 8th.
