Baseball Recap: DasCHE Gets the Win

DasCHE proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 20) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over Tournament Opponent. This was a revenge game for the Spartans: when they faced off against Tournament Opponent last Thursday, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Jackson Gardner and Mateo Momanyi did most of the damage at the plate: Gardner went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI, while Momanyi scored a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits Gardner has posted since back in February.

DasCHE hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive matchups.

DasCHE now has a winning record of 8-7.

Theydidn't rest on their laurels for long: they've already played their next match, a 8-4 beat against another Tournament Opponent.
