Volleyball Recap: Sayre Comes Up Short

Sayre lost against Towanda back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Redskins came up short against the Black Knights, falling 3-0. The Redskins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Sayre ultimately came up short, they really made Towanda work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 28-26.

Sayre's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Towanda, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Sayre wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Hanover Area on the 11th. As for Towanda, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Montrose on the 11th.
