Softball Preview: Fairland Dragons vs. Huntington Highlanders
The Fairland Dragons will head out on the road to square off against the Huntington Highlanders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Fairland has three straight wins, Huntington has 11 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
In what's become a running theme this season, Fairland gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They beat Portsmouth by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1.
Kaylee Salyer was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits (and only one walk).
