Basketball Game Preview: Clearwater Tornadoes vs. Cypress Creek Coyotes

The Clearwater Tornadoes and the Cypress Creek Coyotes will face off at 12:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Clearwater has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 204 points over their last three matches.

Clearwater is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Sumner just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to the Stingrays. The loss put an end to the Tornadoes' undefeated start to the season.

Despite the loss, Clearwater got top-tier performance from Kris Foote, who went 8 of 17 en route to 20 points and six rebounds. With that strong performance, Foote is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Keshawn Andrews, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Cypress Creek unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against Norwayne, falling 65-39. The contest marked the Coyotes 's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Clearwater fell to 7-1. As for Cypress Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
