Grace Stein turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than seven strikeouts on Wednesday. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Monessen back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Those hits marked the first that Stein allowed this season.

Looking ahead, Stein and Jeannette will take on Serra Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thanks in part to Stein's efforts, the Jayhawks will roll in on a three-game winning streak.
