Volleyball Recap: Breckenridge Buckaroos vs. Peaster Greyhounds

After flying high against Millsap on Tuesday, Breckenridge came back down to earth. The Buckaroos lost 3-0 to the Peaster Greyhounds on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Breckenridge was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Peaster's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-11, 25-12.

Reagan Pennington was a one-woman wrecking crew For Peaster. as she had six digs and five aces. That's the most digs Pennington has posted over her last six matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Sears, who had 14 assists and five digs.

Breckenridge's loss dropped their record down to 4-25. As for Peaster, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 34-12-1.

As of now, neither Breckenridge nor the Greyhounds have any future games scheduled.
