If Southside Christian wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Hilltop Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Meleah Bell. The Hilltop Christian Chargers took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 68-21 win over the Southside Christian Warriors thanks to Bell, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds. She has become a key player for Hilltop Christian: the team is 4-1 when she posts at least 15 points, but 7-10 otherwise.

Lizzy Jernigan was another key player, putting up nine points and five boards. What's more, she also racked up two assists, the most she's had since back in November of 2024.
