Basketball Recap: Heritage Christian Academy Gets the Win

While Heritage Christian Academy has struggled at home with six straight losses, that wasn't the case on Monday thanks to Jason Leek. The Heritage Christian Academy Warriors came out on top against the Fort Campbell Falcons by a score of 68-57 thanks in part to Leek, who dropped a double-double with 34 points and 12 boards. That makes it 24 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Heritage Christian Academy's points.

Another player making a difference was Nathan Wheatcraft, who posted three points and seven assists. Those seven assists gave him a new career-high.

Fort Campbell lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Israel Dillard, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last eight games he's played. Tyrek Anthony was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Heritage Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-16. As for Fort Campbell, they dropped their record down to 3-20 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
