Volleyball Recap: Thunderbird Has No Trouble Against Moon Valley

Thunderbird won the last time they faced Moon Valley and things went their way on Thursday too. The Titans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rockets.

Thunderbird never let Moon Valley on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22, 25-14.

Thunderbird found their leader in sophomore Damon Ramirez, who had ten digs and two aces.

Thunderbird was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in March of 2024.

Thunderbird's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Moon Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

Thunderbird wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Greenway on the 22nd. As for Moon Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Paradise Honors on the 22nd.
