Basketball Recap: Prospect Mountain Falls Short of Stevens in the Playoffs

Prospect Mountain and Stevens squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Prospect Mountain had to settle for second. They fell to the Stevens Cardinals 26-20. The Timberwolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2016.

Prospect Mountain has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Stevens and bumps their season record up to 7-12.

While Prospect Mountain had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
