Flag Football Recap: Burroughs Bears vs. Windward Wildcats
The Burroughs Bears were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 19-13 to the Windward Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Bears have lost by exactly six points.
Burroughs' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Karisma Mendez, who threw for 128 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 58 yards.
