Recap: Ann Sobrato Bulldogs vs. Live Oak Acorns
The Ann Sobrato Bulldogs's game on Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 57-46 win over Live Oak. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ann Sobrato also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Several Acorns players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Austin Jennings, who scored 14 points. Jennings set a new season high mark in blocks with two. Raymond Ramirez was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Ann Sobrato now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Live Oak, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Ann Sobrato will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Basis Independent Silicon Valley at 5:30 p.m. on December 13th. Live Oak and Monte Vista Christian will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Monte Vista Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Saturday.
