Basketball Recap: King City Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

King City came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Stewartsville Cardinals with points to spare, taking the game 58-44. This was a revenge game for the Wildkats: when they faced off against the Cardinals two weeks ago, they had to take a 52-39 defeat.

King City pushed their record up to 18-10 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.9 points over those games. As for Stewartsville, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-7.

King City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 58-44 win against Osborn on the 11th. As for Stewartsville, they will face off against Northeast Nodaway at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
