Volleyball Recap: Palmer Comes Up Short

After flying high against Rice on Friday, Palmer came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Keene Chargers by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chargers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Lexey Maxwell paced Palmer's offense, picking up 20 kills. Maxwell got some help from Harley Ellis and her 29 assists. Ellis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 26-12. As for Keene, they now have a winning record of 16-15-1.

As of now, neither Palmer nor the Chargers have any future games scheduled.
