Volleyball Recap: Tanalian Snags 16th Victory in Last 18 Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Tanalian walked away with it. They came out on top against the Aniak Halfbreeds by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Lynx as they're now sitting on three straight.

Erik McGee paced Tanalian's offense, picking up 20 kills. McGee got some help from Jordan Alsworth and her ten assists. Alsworth was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Tanalian is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4-1 record this season. As for Aniak, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 26-9.

Tanalian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Nelson Island on the 7th. Aniak does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
