Volleyball Recap: South Harrison Bulldogs vs. Excelsior Springs Tigers
South Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Excelsior Springs Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
After all that action, the final score was 25-15, 25-16.
South Harrison's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Excelsior Springs, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-6 record.
South Harrison will square off against Carrollton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Excelsior Springs, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Chillicothe at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams are at an even 4-4-1 against one another since September of 2015, but likely not for long.
