Recap: Paxton Bobcats vs. Sneads Pirates

The Paxton Bobcats had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.4 points), and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They secured a 54-48 W over Sneads. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Paxton also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.

Paxton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sawyer Adams, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Collin Stewart, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds.

Paxton is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. As for Sneads, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-8.

Paxton will head out on the road to square off against the Braves at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Walton is on a nine-game streak of home wins, the Bobcats a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Sneads will take on the Tigers at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Graceville and the Pirates are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
