Volleyball Recap: Mojave Takes a Loss

Mojave lost against Immanuel Christian back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Crusaders. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Mustangs haven't been shut out since back in September.

Mojave took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-16, 25-21.

This is the second loss in a row for Mojave and nudges their season record down to 6-13-1. As for Immanuel Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-16 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mojave is set to face off against their familiar foe Lee Vining at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Immanuel Christian will take on rival Lone Pine at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
