Basketball Recap: Seneca Takes a Loss

Seneca suffered their closest loss since December 29, 2023 on Friday. They fell just short of the Aurora Houn Dawgs by a score of 68-66. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Houn Dawgs are ranked 93rd).

Seneca has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Aurora, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-6.

Seneca has already played their next contest, a 76-35 defeat against Blair Oaks on the 8th. As for Aurora, they will take on Nevada at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
