South Kingstown has gone 8-0-1 against Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Rebels will venture away from home to take on the Knights at 12:30 p.m.

South Kingstown is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: Bishop Hendricken, who was ranked first at the time (South Kingstown was ranked 14th). The Rebels took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks on Wednesday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but South Kingstown couldn't quite close it out.

Andrew Masterson and Brandon Tisdale scored both of South Kingstown's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, Central's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They beat Central Falls by a goal, winning 3-2. Bradley Ordonez Noriega had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Central got from the refs.

South Kingstown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Central, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6-1.

South Kingstown took their win against Central in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 5-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
