Softball Recap: Summit Takes a Loss

Summit fell victim to Mountain View and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 13-0 to the Cougars. The Storm have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Summit's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Mountain View, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-8.

Looking ahead, Summit will take on Redmond at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Storm are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Mountain View, they will square off against Caldera at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Caldera will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Mountain View surely won't give up without a fight.
