Soccer Game Preview: Dekaney vs. Nimitz

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Dekaney duke it out with the Nimitz at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dekaney's last eight matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Friday, neither Dekaney nor MacArthur could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Nimitz was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Spring. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Cougars struggled afterwards.

With that draw, Dekaney's record moves to 8-3-3. As for Nimitz, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-2.

Dekaney came up short against Nimitz in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Dekaney avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
